Neubot 0.3.4 available for testing

Greetings. Neubot 0.3.4 is the latest unstable release of neubot and is available for testing at our sources and packages repository, as a package for Debian/Ubuntu, MacOSX, and Windows XP+.

Tagged 0.3.3 for developers and testers

I have tagged 0.3.3 for developers and testers to review and test the changes made since 0.3.2. Packages will be available soon in the sources and packages archive. This is not a public releases because I feel that the new code needs some more test coverage before we make it generally available. So, I will not announce 0.3.3 in the right pane and in the download page.

We'll release 0.3.2 as internal release soon

A few minutes ago we have pushed patches for neubot/speedtest.py to master branch. Now, the queue of stable patches is empty. We will now test the patches for about one day, and, if everything goes well, we will release neubot 0.3.2. Neubot 0.3.2 will be an internal release, for developers and testers only.

The last commit of 2010

I've pushed to the master branch some stable patches that decouple the rendezvous and speedtest modules plus some other improvements. My queue of stable patches is now nearly empty and I guess I will roll-out an internal release (for testers and curious) in the first days of 2011. Happy new year!

Make the task scheduler more robust

Tonite I've pushed to master a set of patches that make the task scheduler simpler and more robust. The task scheduler is the component of neubot that executes certain tasks at a given time and is implemented in neubot/net/pollers.py.

Adding more patches to the master branch

I have pushed some more patches to the master branch (that is the branch that contains patches that will feature in the next release). These patches improve code robustness and make sure we follow more stricly the provisions of GPL.

Pushed some patches on the master branch

I have started pushing some patches on the master branch at GitHub. These patches improve the support for MacOSX, install icons and menu entries for all Unix-like operating systems, improve the status icon in the notification area, improve the logger and fix various small bugs.
